The “Bad News” in .338 Lapua has become a signature rifle for Noreen Firearms. The rifle was originally designed with the intent of taking a well-known large caliber, and being able to send it downrange accurately, further than any other semi-automatic rifle on the market.
Now, with the Bad News Gen. II, we’ve taken a rifle that was already a long-distance powerhouse, and completely upgraded it. With new upgraded receivers, a new gas block, and a mean looking hand-guard, the new Bad News takes everything you loved from the first gen, and made it even better. We took a “signature rifle”, and turned it into a masterpiece.

Beautiful Rifle!
This beautiful work of art is worth every penny! Each one will need to be custom fitted to the operator's use after receipt. Extremely accurate after attachments are properly configured. She comes as pictured by Noreen (rifle only as pictured). For information purposes, this comes with no iron sights, scopes, bi-pods, or other accessories.
600yds no problem
Was out shooting first time and got it sited in at 100yds. with the HSM 250gr ammo Noreen recommended. Used my phone app to get the dope to 600 yds and was ringing the gong every time like I was a pro or something. Another guy at the range couldnt believe a semi auto could be as accurate as this thing. Groups were just about 5 inches with the factory ammo. Cant wait for summer!
Wickedly Accurate and easy to shoot
I love this rifle- and the personal service. I bought the rifle used and had trouble getting the gas block adjusted properly to cycle the weapon reliably. After a couple emails to the Gun Room, I was told that there was a better gas block- a $105 upgrade. So I sent the rifle in for the upgrade. What the hell- $105 bucks is nothing for a 5K rifle to work reliably. They did the upgrade for free. Then I took the rifle out to test the new gas block. Perfect function. Not only that, but I was tagging a 12x18 steel silhouette at 1000 yards every freakin' time. Not one miss in 20 rounds of Sierra Game Kings, not known for match accuracy. Resighted at 100 for 250 grain Accubonds and repeated the perfect string at 1000 again! Surprisingly light feeling and ergonomic. Decent rigger out of the box. The 250 grain slugs match my Shepherd trajectory 6x18 scope perfectly... going from 100 yards to 500 to 1000 is easy and requires no knob tweaking. I love this rifle!
