To date I have 9 of these uppers and they are my favorite to use. I am slowly converting all my uppers to this one. They have a great finish and I've never had a single issue with any of them. As far as I'm concerned they are the best AR-15 Bilket upper on the market. They look really good with the Stike Rail and the Aero Precision Enhanced M-Lock Hand Guard. Amazing fit and really beautiful match.

Nicely machined upper that matches my nicely machined Noreen lower. I like the lack of a forward assist and the clean lines created by skilled Montanan craftsmen.

A couple years ago I purchased the billet upper and lower receivers to build a laminate wood stock 7.62x39 deer hunting AR that I call 'Russian Collusion' as that was what the MSM was screaming at the time. This purchase was for another billet upper for a 6.5 Grendel 20' AR upper that I am collecting parts for. The plan is for a longer range coyote eradicator. I was impressed by the tight fitment of the previous upper and lower, the lower purchased from CDNN and the upper directly from Noreen. I have the Noreen lower and upper now and they fit together perfectly. The lines match up very nicely from the lower to the upper. Highly recommend.

Fist off, What great customer service! There was always someone to answer my questions and quickly . I let Noreen know what I was trying to accomplish and by when. They worked with me every step of the way to make that happen. The receiver set itself is excellent. Minimal milking marks, solid finish, good looking lines, nice chamfering around the mag well, and a handsome roll mark to boot. The cherry on top was the great barrel to receiver fit, I had to heat the upper to fit the barrel. Even before I put my barrel nut on the thing was snug. Overall great product from a great company!

I have used four of these Noreen billet uppers on one 80% forged lower and three 80% billet lowers from Noreen. The fit is very good. Customer service is the best.

Just received two more of these and as always, perfect. So far I have built four .223/5.56 complete AR's with these and the matching Lowers and they a truly sweet. Just ordered two 80% AR-10 Lowers and will be pre-ordering the new Noreen's AR-10 Billet Uppers. If they are a well done and as great a match to each other as the AR-15's are then I will be ordering five or six more complete sets of the AR-10 and the same of the AR-15's as well. Honestly the best 80%'s I've ever worked with. Great job Noreen Team.

Have used these before. Like the clean, sharp lines of the billet upper. Thess work especially well with UTG super slim hand-guards that have alignment tabs on them. Some minor modifications are still required but work great together.

I spent a long while researching uppers before I settled on this one, and I'm glad I did. I may have to buy a second one for a future build! A note about handguards with anti-rotation tabs: This billet upper is thinner in that area than other billet uppers, but not as thin as a forged upper. My chosen handguard didn't fit immediately. I spent a couple minutes trimming the inside of the anti-rotation tabs and now the two components fit perfectly. You can't even tell I had to do that from looking at the upper. Much better than having to trim off the tabs entirely, as with some other billet uppers!

This is an absolutely amazing Upper. I have purchased from almost every manufacturer known and these people are second to none. The machining is perfect, the fit is exact and the finish is every bit as good as Uppers costing 100's more. Noreen Uppers and Lowers are the only ones I will ever purchase from now on. I received 2 Uppers today and next it's 2 Lowers. Then it will be time to get several Raw Uppers and Lowers. Noreen Firearms, my new best friend. Thank you for being the best at what you do.

Outstanding! This upper, and my previous Noreen lower, are of extraordinary quality. The fit, finish and design make for a sleeker build. Looks quite different without the forward assist but that makes it look even better. Built everything with zero issues, right from the BCG to the barrel assembly. A great price for a premium upper.

I bought the 2 uppers to match the two lowers I had bought. Again (yup, not the first time I bought a Noreen set) the match is absolutely perfect, much better than other brand I had bought. I love the professional machining and finish, and the very clean overall look. Wow! Great billets for all!

I was looking for a lighter weight receiver that still had the dust cover. Without needing to spend $300+ I found this Noreen upper. I received it in excellent quality, mates to my lower without any issue. Very well made, will consider again for any future upper builds.

I bought a Noreen lower so I figured Id buy the upper from the same company. When I seen it doesnt have a Forward assist my first thought was not to buy it. But after some thinking on how often I actually use the FA which is almost never in 16yrs. So I bought one and i couldn't be happier with the decision. It fits perfect with the lower. The cut outs match each other where as they wouldnt have if i bought a different brand upper. The finish is perfect along with the fit and function.

Recently purchase to Noreen billet uppers items fit perfectly on billet lowers and look very good there they lock in tightly with no gaps between the upper lower

Excellent fit and finish, mated to Noreen lower, for 7.5" barrel and 4" suppressor. The hard anodized finish is just that, hard coat. Surprisingly difficult to remove for color accents.

When found on sale, this 80% no frills lower is great for the custom gunsmith and DIY weekender to test their customization skills with plenty of material to contour

I stumbled across Noreen kind of by accident and I'm glad I did. They offer a high quality billet receiver for a price which rivals many cheap mil-spec forged receivers. The fit and finish is excellent and I received my order very quickly. What is there not to like ?

Looks great so far, fits to the lower with very little play and the finish is perfect. The first half inch or so behind the barrel nut has the same profile as a forged upper, so the anti-rotate tabs on many handguards will work. Impressed.

Tight tolerances and very well made, clean lines and no burrs or tooling marks on any surfaces and the anodizing is smooth. Mates perfect with the lower I purchased, no slack or play. Overall a great product

For not much more than common forged receivers this is a great product. I paired it with the Noreen Billet upper and they fit together perfectly. I somehow didn't notice when I ordered tat the upper is missing the forward assist and after going to the range with it I think it's time for a forward assist to go the way of the Edsel. This was the first upper I have assembled where the barrel was a SNUG fit! Well satisfied, break in groups running from .6 to MOA at 100 yards with 55 grainers and a less than perfect trigger. VERY HAPPY!
